Hi
The login dropdown do not work properly anymore. When trying to login from there, it’s just goes to a blank page. On the browsers address field there is: http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/login but the page is just blank.I know this was working before, in version 1.2 and i haven’t this enabled for a time, but when enabled it on first version 1.3 it did not work, and now on version 1.4 it’s not work.

May 17, 2013 at 9:11 am #5158Hi Charlie,
First, are you using any plugins on your site? If so, try disabling them and test again, maybe there’s one conflicting.

Can you provide a link so that we can take a look?

Support AssistantMay 20, 2013 at 8:17 pm #5551No, i use only BreadcrumbNavXT, ContactForm 7 and Revolution Slider which was recommend to use when installing this theme.
The google translate which i use does not matter either, have testing with and without.
The login dropdown did not either worked before that and not either before the Disqus plugin i now use. So i don’t think it’s some new plugin that changes the URL.And the dropdown login worked with version 1.1 with same plugins installed. I wonder if someone else has this problem?
May 21, 2013 at 7:55 pm #5685Tested this here and it’s working perfectly. Not sure why it’s not working for you, but I was seeing a 402 error on form submission, and now the site appears to be down?

May 21, 2013 at 8:36 pm #5692Hi
Very strange, It should not be down and i have visited my site from different computers and browsers several times under the day and it has never been down. Of cource there is a possibility that the server has temporarly been down when you visited it. Give it a new try please, if it’s down for you again then there is serious problems with it.The thing is that when you click on Register it goes to wp-register page and when you click on Forgot password it also goes to right url. But when writing in the form and clicking at the login button, it just goes to a blank page.

May 23, 2013 at 1:05 am #5843Managed to get a screenshot of the error – http://cl.ly/P99v
Very odd. Can’t find anything on Google about this, and can’t replicate it here. Do you have anything installed (plugin, or anything), that you think could be related to this payment error.

May 23, 2013 at 8:12 am #5861Hi
I Googled this too. This thing could actually be malware, either on files or server. I think we should take this error seriosly. Here’s some links i found on Google.I would also contact the server to see if they can give some answers.
May 23, 2013 at 9:42 am #5865Hi again!
The staff at my server said that the error code is only used by Youtube, if having too many requests. Can it be something with the script? i mean the way it’s written to embed videos from Youtube? I do only have one video embedded and no visitors at all, and the error was there before i added the Youtube video.Charlie
May 23, 2013 at 4:57 pm #5936Hi Charlie,
Have checked across local, test, and live servers, and am unable to replicate this. Certain that it’s a local issue.
As a workaround, you could change the dropdown to be a link to the login page?
– Ed
May 23, 2013 at 5:50 pm #5953Yes, i could do that workaround of cource. Actually i dont need a login on this site, i’m thinking about clients who wants a nice login. (ok. it might work on other domains, at least from the beginning)
But if i have to make that workaround also for clients, later on, it will not be good. Than i need a way to totally hide that setting from admin dashboard from the beginning. How to do that?
After contacting my server staff, i’m quit sure that the whole domain has been blocked by YouTube, and it’s not for too many videos from YouTube or too many visitors who is clicking on the videos, because i do not have any visitors and do not even have a video on a page.
So if i’m right, this can happen to anyone, and there should be a better workaround than that.
Sorry for this, Charlie
May 23, 2013 at 8:22 pm #5973Hi Charlie,
I’m struggling to see how it’s related to YouTube. I think if it was an issue with the theme, then we would definitely know about it before now, and there would be more people with it. We’ve used this on the past 3 themes, and haven’t had any issues.
I’d ask them to look further into it.
Is it possible for you to set it up somewhere else to test?
