    Hi there,

    Ihave a SERIOUS problem.

Since I’ve installed many plugins and update some of them, my website is in a maintenance mode.

I’ve read that I have to delete the file .maintenance on the FTP (that I don’t have because I manage my website locally at the moment) or in the wp-content (I can’t find this file though).

I’ve deleted all the plugins I’ve installed and updated today.. it doesn’t work.

I really need your help, as I’d loke to finish my e-commerce within a week to be able to sell my produts.

Please help me my dear friends

    Regards,

It will be in the root directory not /wp-content/. The main directory you installed WP on.

    Thanks.

I’m sorry, I’m not an expert..

Do you have the exact adresse of the root directory on the computer ?

    Is it MAMP ? htdocs ? wordpress-2 ?

It will depend what directory you have created. As you mentioned wordpress-2 I would guess in there.

You may need to set your Macbook to show hidden files.

    Thanks.
