Loading very slow

Hi there,

We’ve purchased the theme a while ago, set it up & everything all good, good work by the way. Initially we thought that our hosting was causing very slow loading times and lag and maybe the big pictures we used.

We made the pictures half their size, cleaned up some files here and there, did tests on our hosting and everything seemed fine, except the slow loading times & files queuing up too much to get loaded.

The site is live at http://www.porcporc.com. Can you give us any tips on how to make it faster ? is it the wordpress ? is it load queue script ? I’ve been going in circles trying to make it faster, no luck.

Hi Razvan,

Just ran a analysis http://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.porcporc.com/CsnME8DK . You need to add some headers in your htaccess file and enable gzip compression . Here is a tutorial http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/hosting/optimizing-wordpress-loading-speed-with-header-php-htaccess/ .
