Load Time On My Website

But I am having one small issue. When you go to my website http://www.piriltim.com/ , or when you access any page on the website, all the links on menu and logo disappear for about 5 seconds, then reappear. It is not from my end because I tried it on two different computers. How do I fix this so there isn’t a delay in the loading? When you visit the website, you’ll see what I mean.

It could be this error:

this is an error of the WordPress core files which hopefully will be fixed soon by the WP developers.

In the meantime we can fix it manually by opening the file /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js and deleting the line
//@ sourceMappingURL=jquery-1.10.2.min.map
completely.

I’m curious, which browser is this happening in for you?

I’ve just tested with Firefox and I don’t see the issue on your site. I do get the issue with Chrome, is that what you used?

It happens on the mobile version too when I access it from Safari on my iPhone.

Both Chrome and Safari are Webkit browsers, so this sounds like the issue is particular to them.

I’ll nede to investigate further, it looks like perhaps a recent Webkit update or a change in jQuery is triggering this in those browsers.
