The sites load time is slow – Site is hosted with GoDaddy and I’ve check with them and the speed is good (I was going to upgrade and GoDaddy actually advised against it they said it wouldn’t fix the load time problem). Ive created other WordPress sites and had them on the same host without long load times so and after speaking with them Im confidante GoDaddys not the issue.
I noticed in going thru the forums/ Knowledgebase that there was a recommendation by staff to install and use “Better WordPress Minify” unfortunately when I install the plugin the site completely falls apart and becomes unrecognizable. When I check sites overall performance using “http://gtmetrix.com/” I am told several things have failing grades. GTMetrixs recommendations in order are: Defer parsing of JavaScript, Remove query strings from static resources, Serve resources from a consistent URL. These are the main things slowing down site.
