    Hi there,

Is it possible to have a Read More -> link to the post in the initial blog page or search results page?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,

If you set a custom excerpt for your post, it will automatically add it.

Have you set this option to Yes, for your Blog element?

    Hi Cosmin,

I’ve notice now what you talking about. I can find the option when creating a new page with blog element.

However, I have set the initial page of hte wordpress to show the latest posts, so it is automatically. I don’t have thos option there. The same occurs with the search result page, I can’t edit the properties of that page, or can I?

What it the better approach to fix this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,

The theme won’t work correctly if you set a Posts Page under Settings / Reading.

Instead, create a page with the Page Builder and set it as your home page in Settings/Reading. Don’t set anything for the Posts Page option.

On this home page, you can insert a blog element and have it like in my example.

    Right, got you.

And how about the search result page?

    Thanks,

Only if you set the Display Type to “Mini” in Theme Options / Archive/Category Options. This will affect the blog category archives page as well (not your home page)

As I said, search template will show it only if you set the Display Type to “Mini” in Theme Options / Archive/Category Options.

Thanks for providing that. I’ve took a look around, but still couldn’t get to the bottom of this. Neither the child or parent theme seem to work in your case for that Read more link.

Can you please first try and download the theme again and re-install it?

If that won’t work either, let me know and I’ll escalate this to Ed.
