Lightbox issue when opening gallery image

Hello Swift Ideas Team!

I’m having trouble trying to get this right. I created a portfolio item in Dante and the only content inside is a gallery with a set of images. The gallery was created using Dante Swift Builder, not the default WordPress gallery. I also enabled the lightbox functionality in the gallery settings.

When viewing the portfolio item page, when I click on an image it opens the full image instead of in a lightbox. The lightbox comes up maybe 10% of the time but when I reload the page it opens the full image again.

Am I doing something wrong? I tried uploading smaller images and using different browsers. I even tried viewing the gallery on its own and it still does this. I’d much rather use the Dante lightbox and not a wordpress plugin version. The Dante lightbox is just so nice and it works with swipes on mobile devices.

Hi,
From what you wrote you are probably not letting the page load completely and clicking on the image. In that case it will link to the image directly and not light box.
