I can’t validate my licence and use forums, I keep getting redirected to validation.
May 14, 2013 at 12:03 am #4734Just checked your account and no valid purchase codes have been accepted. Are you sure you’re entering the right code?

May 14, 2013 at 8:06 am #4772May 14, 2013 at 8:11 am #4774Meh nevermind I tried it again just now and it worked. It was definitely redirecting me though, I tried it about 5 times and kept going in a loop.
So what was happening exactly was I’d put in the code, it would take me to main forums, I’d click on flexform forums and it would take me back to validate code page. I’d copy code again from file just to make sure I didn’t add any spaces etc. Put it in and it took me to main forums then click flexform and get redirected back to validation.
May 14, 2013 at 11:41 am #4784Having same problem and just wasted half an hour going in and out and being re-directed-it seems there’s a problem with the system. Can’t be the licence key as I copied and pasted then tried re-typing as well.
I had to create a new user just to get on then it biffed me around all over the place….
It’s very frustrating indeed.
What’s the rationale behind limiting the access to knowledge-base?
Surely there are common structures to your themes and therefore helpful pointers amidst the topics and issues covered within?
Thanks for looking at this-I’ve been looking for the ability to re-order portfolio entries and also the possibility of creating a second portfolio for another page….any ideas please?
Dave
May 14, 2013 at 8:27 pm #4841forum limitation is absolutely necessary, especially with posts that contain plugins such as revolution slider.
On top of that principle, People who download from peer networks shouldn’t be asking for support.
So go try it again, my guess is there’s some kind of time lapse between it accepting and letting you in.
May 14, 2013 at 9:33 pm #4844I think you’re jumping to the wrong conclusion here-I’m a fully paid up licence holder wondering why the knowledge base is theme-restricted and why a simple system isn’t working properly.
If they’re all from the same stable it stands to reason that many of the questions raised will have common solutions e.g. a portfolio in one theme may be on the same structure as a portfolio in another.
Never mind if I can’t find answer here I’ll go elsewhere and hopefully have a more positive response.
By the way-do you represent/speak on behalf of the theme or are you just another regular punter?
Happy days
May 15, 2013 at 12:26 am #4848Hi Dave,
Just about to reply to your email, apologies for the delay.
I’ve checked your account, and you have a code accepted for Pinpoint, so you should be able to access – http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/forum/theme-support/pinpoint/

May 15, 2013 at 1:46 pm #4901Thanks for reply-same issue today unfortunately – licence code in, then it’s biffed out straight away.
DaveMay 15, 2013 at 3:48 pm #4935Hi Dave,
Just tried logging in with your account, and it worked perfectly. Can you try clearing your cache?

May 16, 2013 at 9:52 pm #5083I am struggling with the same issue, i have added my code before, however it is still asking for it.
Please email me back,
cheers
May 17, 2013 at 1:20 am #5094@pierechod1981 – Just checked your account and the code for Flexform has been verified. Can you check the Flexform forum to see if you have access? If not, then please try clearing your cache.

May 17, 2013 at 6:19 pm #5246Tried clearing cache-same again-prompts for licence key put it in and nothing back to the same screen again and around you go again-biffed out of the support area…..this is infuriating-so much so I’m considering scrapping the theme and replacing it with others I work with-have to say I’ve never had any problems at all like this before which is a great shame and really disappointing. This has wasted an awful lot of my time…..
Can you answer the two q’s please….
One is it possible to have more than one protfolio set up?
Two, what size images should be uploaded to Showcase slider to keep them all in sync with each other-the black bar at bottom seems to change size when different sized images are added yet your xml sample content has differing sized images which baffles me….
Have a good weekend..
May 17, 2013 at 9:35 pm #5285sorted for me Ed thanks
May 17, 2013 at 10:49 pm #5294Dave,
Apologies that you’re having issues – but it’s definitely something on your end. I’ve tested you account, worked fine. Have you tried another browser by any chance? I don’t know if you’re trying to access a different theme’s forums by accident?
1) Yes you can set up as many as you like.
2) The main image slide for each is a background image (as this is stretched to fit the size of the slider). We then add images as layers, which keeps them to their size.
Hope that helps.
