layered nav not showing up

I am having same issues with the woocommerce layered nav widget not showing up as well. I have read the link that Ed has posted and made sure that I set up my attributes. Yet, I am still not seeing the widget show up in any of my sidebars. Additionally, the title for the widget does not even show up. When I inspect the webpage via Chrome or Firefox, the widget is not even listed in the html or CSS. Is there something I need to do to get this activated.

Okay, I am not sure what I did, but it seems to work now. When I look on pages with products or categories, it seems to show up. I guess it does not work on blog type pages. Thanks to Ed’s posting, it kept me researching and I eventually found that it only shows up on shop and product archive pages. Thanks.
