    Hi there
    When updating the the latest neighborhood theme, a strange thing is happening.

    I have a page full of image boxes 4 wide by 6 long. Each image has a link to a page. BUT, now with the update, when I hover over the image the hand icon occurs as normal BUT now a large block of translucent colour covers 75% of the screen each time I hover over an image. What’s going on?

    Is this a problem others are experiencing and will it be fixed in a future update?

    Thanks

    Hi Kyle,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I am making my website on a local host on my computer before I upload it to my ISP host. Is there anything else I can do to help you identify issue?

    Thanks

    Hi

    I have never seen anyone with this issue before and have never come across it myself, therefore it is something specific to your install which is almost impossible to identify without being able to inspect your website.

    Please could you let me know as soon as you have uploaded the site and I will look into it for you

    Hi Kyle,

    Yes, all was OK up until the last update install. I will get back to you once I have uploaded it.
    Thanks

    Hi

    We have fixed this issue for the latest update which will be out shortly ๐Ÿ™‚

    For now you can add this to your custom css:

    .spb_single_image figure { position: relative; }

    Thanks! But – could I just remove the hover effect all in all?

    Of course, add this to your custom css:

    figure:hover > a > .overlay {
      opacity: 0;
    }

    It’s working for me now on your site, there’s no overlay.

    Try clearing your cache

    Hi,
    I had the same problem and this custom code worked out beautifully.
