    Hi,
I found a free plugin to have a multilingual website, but I can’t find the way to use their widget in the header.
    Is it possible to create:
-a self standing language selector in the header without WPML
    or
    – changing the links of the built-in language selector
    and
    – to separate language selector form the account widget?

Thank you very much for your help!
    A.

    Hi,
You can add the Language selector in Main navigation menu.
    Thanks

    Thanks Mohammad,
I’ve already tried the solution you mentioned but it’s not what I was looking for.
I have a couple of questions:
1- Can I change the links of the language selector that appears under the ‘account’ widget of the header?
2- I could translate some pages myself but I’d need to improve SEO with hreflang tag, is it possible on single pages?
3- Could I add in the header just a language selector without an icon or flag (e.g. EN/IT) with a link to the translated page?
4- Can you suggest a good plugin to avoid all this work without paying 80$?
Thanks a lot for your assistance!

    Hi,

All this is possible with WPML plugin, the theme is 100% compatible with WPML.

If you were to hire a developer to implement the above changes, the cost would be much, much more then $80.

The WPML plugin is well worth the money, well supported and very very good for what you need.

    Thanks,
    David
