    Hello!

I’m having two small issues with the WooCommerce cart.

    1. Users can’t delete items out their cart from the cart icon in the navigation bar. In order to delete a product from the cart, they have to go into the cart page.

    2. The cart image doesn’t appear when you over a product in the shop page. Instead some minor brackets appear.

I’ve already checked all my plugins for compatibility, they’re fine. Is there something else I can do to correct this?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Notice you have a child theme, can you try to enable the parent theme clear the cache and try again.

Did you make bigger modifications in the child theme?

    Hello Rui,

I made 2 modifications to the child theme, one which redirects customers after checkout to a customer page and the second hides related products from showing under the single product pages. However, I’ve made no design changes.

I’ve switched to the parent theme and cleared the cache, but nothing has changed.

    1) Please try this build, that should sort it – http://d.pr/f/1gSnR/2HBVZN1U

    2) This is related to the style for the theme. If you go to the color customiser, you can choose different styles: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gab55y11e61v67l/Screenshot%202015-04-03%2022.04.57.png?dl=0

    Hello Ed,

I’ve used the new build and the minimal styling setting, but unfortunately the cart issue still persists.

However, thank you for your help!

    Hi

Are you referring to this? http://d.pr/i/12LfV/5mWt8h92

This is the correct icon, this is the ‘select options’ icon

    1) Can you please disable the performance option in Theme Options > General > Performance Options, so that I can debug further.

    2) That is the cart image when hovering a product – it shows that because it is a variable product.

    Hello Kyle & Ed,

My apologies about the cart image! I didn’t realize it changed once I made the product variable. However, I’ve disabled the performance option.

    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi,

Thanks for disabling the performance option, I checked the script functions and they seem fine. Can you provide us ftp access to check the php function that removes the product?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Tried everything I can with the WordPress user, but couldn’t find anything except php code inside the style.css of the child theme. You should move it to the functions.php

I commented that code inside the style.css

Can you find your server logs to look for further info? Did you change anything in the file permissions of the WordPress install?

Still need ftp access or cPanel to be able to look it further. Has last resource upload again the theme files.

    -Rui
