Hello! WordPress and all of my plugins are fully updated. When I attempted to update to Pinpoint v.1.63 I received a white screen. My hosting company investigated and found an error in the new Pinpoint version I was trying to install. When we attempted to revert back to the child theme of Pinpoint v.1.6 that I had been using, we couldn’t even reactivate that and I am stuck with either a white screen or using a default template just so that I can access my admin.
Here is the error my hosting company found:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home3/barrynes/public_html/wp-content/themes/pinpoint/includes/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 1140
I am a newbie, so please walk me through how to fix this as soon as possible.
    Thank you.

    Hi,

I uploaded the 1.62 just so you site can be online while we check this.
Just forwarded it to our head developer.

    Let’s wait for the reply.
    Thanks

    Hi there.

We are getting the same error, is there a chance we can get pinpoint 1.62 until we get it sorted?

Is there a place old versions can be downloaded?

    Thanks.

    Hi @andy,

This isn’t a bug, the issue is that you’ll need to update your PHP version on your hosting to v5.3 or above. Your host should be happy to do this for you.

If not, we can provide 1.62 zip for you.

    Hi,

You should install that plugin and fill your Twitter settings(secret key, etc) in the plugin.
