    Hi there,

    Are you using this WooCommerce Colors plugin? If so remove that – it’s not needed with our theme.

    There are no font settings set on your new site (the one that is wrong)?

    Hi Ed,

    I removed the woo commerce color plugin.
    now it loosks different – its a new version – I have no idea where those colors come from. please check the page again on safari and firefox:

    http://www.sukiya.ch/produkt-kategorie/moebel/

    what do you mean by font settings set?
    I did not make any changes to my fonts. so I don’t know why safari has this problem?

    thanks for your help!

    best wishes,
    Lisa

    The issue is an error in your custom css: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v2oi9syqc5nv2el/Screenshot%202015-05-12%2021.31.42.png?dl=0

    (The extra “}” ) – that is breaking the css. Different browsers handle errors differently – in this case Safari is not rendering any of the following css.

    Hi Ed,

    so you mean I should remove all those double }} in custom CSS field of the general theme options?

    best wishes,
    Lisa

    Not all of them, just where they aren’t required. Run the CSS though here – https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/#validate_by_input

    You want to fix any “Parse error” notices.

    here for example I have the colors of the sales flag – which has a wrong color.

    but there are not 2 }}

    Check my response above. The issue is because there are errors in the custom css – there should be no errors in the validator, else browser issues can occur like you’ve seen.

    You need to resolve all of those errors – the first error means that on Safari, none of the other css is being read.

    ok I will try this.

    but i don’t understand one thing:

    the webpage was working on safari all the time.
    I have those issues since I made all those update (woocmmerce and theme update).
    I did not make any changes to the CSS.

    do I have those issues because of the updates?

    thanks for your help,

    best wishes,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,

    Not sure exactly what caused those to show up, could have been caching. Best to get those fixed, that should sort all the issues.

    Hi Ed,

    now I tried your suggestions.
    but unfortunately its not working. if I make all those changes in my CSS recommended from this webpage: https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/#validate_by_input

    the solution is that my page also on other browsers like firefox is not working correctly anymore.

    so there must be something else which is not working correctly….

    please take a look at the problem again. (I canceled the changes in my CSS again-as it was not working)

    thanks a lot and best wishes,
    Lisa

    That can’t be true. Just to prove it, add this css to the top of your custom css box:

    .woocommerce span.onsale {
    background-color: #E8A7CD!important;
    color: #FFFFFF!important;
    }
