issues with product zoom

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with the product zoom feature. When you hover on the image, it seems to zoom out (appear in normal size) instead of zoom in… ?

I am running the latest version of wordpress and the theme.

You’re image is not big enough, you need to upload a bigger image for the hover zoom to work

they are 700x904px. Does it only work if they bigger than this?

The images you have uploaded are exactly that size? I am not referring to the woocommerce image settings, I mean the actual size of the image when you upload it

The original image needs to be bigger than the image area for it to zoom. Either upload bigger images, or go to Theme Options > Product Options and reduce the size of the image area

Ok thanks Kyle – which option must I change to change the image area? Is it the product slider height?

I just want to check what the image sizes should be as I’m seeing conflicting posts on the forum… should they be 540px x 720px in woocommerce settings or 700x904px?

And then if my image size is 700×904 when uploading, should my woocomm setting rather be 540x720px in order for the zoom functionality to work?

Leave the WooCommerce settings at 700×904, but upload bigger images than 700×904 for the zoom to work
