I have an issue with the text/shortcode for the header left config. I created an Iconbox shortcode because I need to show the map marker and for it to redirect to a specific page.
With some css, this works awesome except for one reason, when going into a product detail, making a mess. I’ve customized the header for the clients needs / wants, so I guess I won’t get many support on this (Though if you feel like it would be awesome!)
The thing now is I’m trying to delete the shortcode and try it out straight with html code, it worked, for on page load, the thing is it resets itself to the shortcode, and whatever I do I can’t seem to delete the shortcode from the header left config.
I don’t know whats wrong, I’ve tried several things and nothing.
Also, I’ve tried with the Contact item, just changed the icon. This should slide out a window right? (The one selected on the Contact Slideout Page part?), well, also… nothing!
I need help with this, regarding that I need this option for three different languages.
I’m sending a doc with printscreens.
Thank you very much,
Corina

October 17, 2016 at 10:44 pm #297060Hello David,
That was most definetely an answer I wasn’t expecting.
The shortcode always sticking to the field of the Header left Config, even after updating it and the Contact Slideout Page not working, go beyond the scope of the theme support? Aren’t these two options by default on the template and should work properly? How is that not on the scope?
Would you help me out find out what’s going on?
Regards and thank you,
Corina

We do not assist with customer modifications, only small CSS tweaks or actual theme issues.
From what I understand, the issue is caused from your modifications. Maybe, I have misunderstood though, if you have experienced an issue with the stock theme before modifications please provide further details to illustrate this and we assist you.

October 18, 2016 at 3:57 pm #297233Hi David,
Yes, It has nothing to do with the modification I made, this is why I’m asking for your help.
I’m having a Redux error message, and I think it might have to do with that. I’m trying to contact the host provider to help me out.
I’ll let you know.

Corina

October 18, 2016 at 5:15 pm #297250October 18, 2016 at 6:27 pm #297284It seems a temporary issue since it says that the cdn where the ace editor script files are store is down at that moment.
In that case it’s necessary to check again if it’s already working.-Rui
October 18, 2016 at 9:28 pm #297319Hello Rui, is not temporary, it’s been like that for a few days now.

CorinaOctober 18, 2016 at 10:12 pm #297325another reason for those scripts not being loaded is that since they an external url they can be blocked by some security settings.
This is the block of code that enqueues those specific scripts that are being denied

cdn.jsdelivr.net

October 20, 2016 at 12:03 pm #297655Hello Rui,
Thanks for your answer. We’ve had this issue befores and the url is already set and active on the hosting. Is there something else we could check?
Regards,
Corina
October 20, 2016 at 12:15 pm #297662Maybe somehow those settings aren’t correct. Can you provide me admin access to see if I find any message that can help us out.
Also check in the server error logs if there are any recent errors in the log.

I stopped having the error message, but still getting the issue of the shortcode sticking and not being deleted. And the Contact Slideout Page not sure how is supposed to work
Is there something I can do?, delete it from the database?
Thanks in advance. Regards,
