Issue with Shopping Cart on Header

I have the latest Neighborhood theme version and now I am having the issue with the shopping cart on the header top right.

If I add 1 item to my shopping cart, the shopping cart icon on top shows corectly
If I go to single item page, increase quantity more than two and then click on the ‘Add to shopping bag’, the shopping cart icon on top did not update the dollar amount and did not show the item that I just added. However when I go to view cart, it shows everything correctly that I have added earlier, but the shopping cart icon did not update. You can see the attached image, you can notice that the shopping cart icon shows $56, but the on the cart page, the cart subtotal is $76.25

Also, when I click on the the shopping cart icon, it shows me the list of item i just added to shopping cart, but when I click on the ‘X’ to remove that item, it did not work.

Hi,
Are you using latest version of theme and all plugins? Please deactivate cache plugin if you are using.

Yes, I am using the latest theme of Neighborhood version 2.16 and woocommerce version 2.1.12. All other plugins are up to date.

Your Woocommerce version is outdated, you should use the current version 2.3.7

if you try to add an item to the cart you’ll see that the amount shown on header Cart is wrong.
The problem is only in header chart because on the cart page everything is displayed correctly.
