issue with filtering posts by category

I’ve got a problem that is driving me absolutely crazy. I would like to create a page for each of a few categories, with a short intro on top (text block) and the posts beneath (blog with filter by category).
For some reason, it is not working with a specific category called “chantelle”: I always get all the articles an not just the ones from the selected category.
I even tried to create a new category (chantelletest), moved the articles from “chantelle” to “chantelletest”, deleted “chantelle” and renamed “chantelletest” to “chantelle”. But as soon as I renamed “chantelletest”, I get the same problem again. Like I said, it’s driving me nuts.
I don’t know if it’s usefull, but the page is located here: http://www.lingerie-expert.be/chantelle-paris/

Do you have ANY idea what can be done here? I’m desperate.

Hi,

Try this, Go to Posts -> Category, and there all categories are lists, in the Chantelle mouse over it, and you see a view link, click it. It display posts? If it creates posts like you want, you can directly link that in the menu.

If not, pass me the WP Login details as a private reply, I will check that around.

It doesn’t work the way it should. Please compare the following two pages:

this is an overview of all the posts of the category “chantelle-paris” (following your instructions earlier). Please notice there are only 5 posts in this category.

This is a page with the blog element where I selected the category “chantelle-paris”. When I preview the page, it doensn’t filter at all. Instead, it shows all the posts.

Unlike what I presumed earlier, it’s a general issue that occurs also with other categories.

Sorry for getting you late, could you try deactivate all plugin and try? because in my installation everything works smooth. When I try yours I get the same as you described.

oh djeeez, I found the problem and you where right: it’s a plugin called “seo ultimate” that’s causing the problem.
good news on one hand, but very unfortunate on the other because I was very happy with the plugin )-:

You can try some other SEO plugins like yoast, if SEO ultimate fails you.
