    Hello,

I am running the latest version of Atelier on a WPEngine server. Out of the blue one of our product category pages (http://thepipeguys.com/product-category/smoking-pipes/peterson-smoking-pipes/) stopped loading properly. We had our developer take a look at it, but he couldn’t figure it out. This correspondence with him could shed more light…

“I think it’s not a code error as had it been a code issue, it would not have worked for other categories.. All the categories shares same php code to render the product under them so if the code works for one category, it will work for all..
I tried to find the issue but didn’t find any genuine cause for this unexpected behavior.. For now, it seems that this is a theme issues (jQuery) which is responsible to render products with jquery animation..”

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi there,

Potentially an issue with this product – “Dublin Ebony Churchwarden” or the one after that, as the page doesn’t finish rendering. Try enabling WP_DEBUG or checking your server error logs?

    Hi Ed,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It turns out the issue is with a Woocommerce plugin called “Waitlist”. I emailed Woothemes about it and they advised me to try the standard wordpress theme real quick to see if the issue is actually with the plugin or something with the theme that is causing a plugin error. So I did just that and the issue goes away when I activate the WordPress 2015 theme. I currently have the Atelier theme active on my staging site so you can see the issue.

You can see it here: http://thepipeguys.staging.wpengine.com/product-category/smoking-pipes/peterson-smoking-pipes/

I’ve been using the Waitlist plugin for a very long time with the Dante theme with no issues, but this all started when I switched to Atelier for some reason. Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Are you running the latest version of the woocommerce-waitlist plugin? That PHP is related directly to the plugin.

Are you happy for us to login and run some tests which would be activating the Twenty15 theme and disabling plugins?

    Thanks,
    David.
