    Hi there

I’ve had a few customers encounter an issue with my site running the Atelier theme.

As far as I can see the issue is only occurring on iPads. I have tested it on an iPhone, Mac and PC and have no issues there.

The main issue is when a customer adds an item to the cart… the site recognises that an item has been added to the cart with the standard message that appears and also the number that has been selected appears in the cart icon in the header.

Almost immediately after that however the number in the cart reduces to zero. You click on the cart and the added item is no longer there.

Another customers has also reported an issue when they got to the checkout page. The user typed in all their details but kept getting an error message saying that all the Shipping Information was missing even though they had typed all the required information in (see attached image).

Any assistance on these two issues would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

Can’t replicate that one on iPad, can you clear the iPad browser cache and try again?

Regarding the 2nd issue can you activate the default WordPress theme Twenty Seventeen to see if it happens the same thing? It doesn’t seem to be caused by Atelier, but let’s see what happens.

    Thank you for the response.

I have cleared the cache on my iPad and the issue still remains, I am also running the most upto date iOS software. The item is added into the cart and then almost straight away it is removed.

I’ve had a look at the the other issue also and have activated the Twenty Seventeen theme, but as i’m unable to add anything to the cart on the iPad I can’t get to the checkout to test whether this makes a difference.

Any additional help would be much appreciated.

The supplied login details are not working, can you check those and update?

    Hi @jfirth8

I too have tested our local setup on an iPad without issue. You said you’ve tested your site with the Twenty Seventeen theme – but were unable to add to cart there either? If that is the case then it must be some kind of caching.

You could also try disabling the AJAX add to cart, this is set in Theme Options > WooCommerce Options > Product Options –>
    Add to cart ajax.

    Let us know.
