    I installed a fresh wordpress in order to test a new site. I installed Uplift and the required plugins. I updated everything. The home page is blank and fails to render. If I switch to the wordpress 2016 theme, the home page renders.
    So right now the theme is set to 2016 and not to Uplift.

    Is there an incompatibility with 4.6?

    thanks

    Hi,

    There are not currently any known issues. Do you have any errors to report?

    Please open your wp-config.php file and change this define('WP_DEBUG', false); to this: define('WP_DEBUG', true); and report back what error messages you see.

    – David.

    I got this. Is Redux really required?

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /home1/lbdesign/public_html/hgcdesign/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/fields/typography/googlefonts.php on line 1

    I disabled the Redux plugin and then got this error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /home1/lbdesign/public_html/hgcdesign/wp-content/plugins/swift-framework/includes/options/redux-framework/inc/fields/typography/googlefonts.php on line 1

    My php.ini is set to
    memory_limit = 128M

    But IDK what my shared hosting provider is granting me.

    Please open your wp-config.php file and add this: define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

    Thanks,
    David

    Thank you, that worked. The back-end is also working a lot faster now.
