    Hi,

    My client has asked if she can have a modal that appears automatically on the home page after a few seconds of loading the page, where we would have a Mailchimp signup form (like currently implemented in the footer).

    In the modal shortcode, it appears that it’s only possible to create a modal that opens with a button click.

    Is it possible to have it launch automatically? If so, how would I do that? I am a designer and have only very basic knowledge of html and css.

    Hi,

    By default the theme doesn’t include that functionality.
    There are several free solutions to achieve it.

    Thanks Rui. I tried a few and was able to do what I need with one called “Modal Dialog”.
