It seems like this will never end. My client is looking at the website on Internet Explorer 11. Sometimes he sees the product images distorted, both in catalog form and on the individual product page. He’s really not happy. Can you please, please help me? I set the image sizes up precisely according to your instructions. I did slight css modifications in my child theme but I don’t see why they would cause the distortions. I can’t see them on my IE browser but he says they “come and go”. Please, do you have any idea why this is happening? I’m trying so hard to launch and he is really eager as well but this is quite a problem. Jpegs of his screen are attached. Thank you, Katie

Client not using IE8 but perhaps the problem somehow persists in later browsers?
I added this CSS to my child theme:
.woocommerce div.product div.images img {width:auto;}
.woocommerce img, .woocommerce-page img {width:auto;}Think I’m on the right track? Unfortunately client is in CA and I’m on East Coast so I can’t see what he sees or check if this works and I think he’s gone home for the night. So in the meantime, if you have any helpful hints or tips, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks,

if you changed the images sizes and had already upload some images you will need to regenerate the images again using this plugin.

May 19, 2016 at 12:22 pm #268680Sorry, I don’t understand. I did not change any image sizes – I sized each of them to 700 X 904 before uploading them to the site to match the settings provided in the documentation. What am I missing?
May 19, 2016 at 3:20 pm #268755In that case it seems correct. Can you provide IE11 screenshots with better quality, can’t see it properly.

Also it doesn’t seem to be related with your custom css.-Rui
May 24, 2016 at 4:38 pm #269787No, not my custom css or my plugins. I think it must be some weird rendering issue with Internet Edge. Did you see all the notes in my link above about how the site could render better?
I will try with the new product images but why would that make a difference? Seems random as to which products it happens to… and only happens on page load.
May 24, 2016 at 4:54 pm #269790It’s just to determine if somehow Edge is caching some wrong version of the file, since you said that is working fine with our demo.
No didn’t checked those render suggestions.
