When I want to update the theme, or install the contact 7 form I keep getting this:

Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wordpress-importer.0.6.1.zip…
Download failed. Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or is not writable.

I tried adding this to wp-config.php

/* Setup a temporary folder for uploading and updating */
define( ‘WP_TEMP_DIR’, ABSPATH . ‘wp-content/tmp/’) ;

but it’s not solving the problem.

What should I do?

The example shows when I was trying to install importer, but it happens with everything that I mentioned.

Hi,

You should check with your host the file permissions in the website files. Maybe they don’t have enough privileges to write in the folders.
