Increase number of images in a gallery

Hi.

I need to create gallery with more that 200 images but there is a limit to what I can upload in the gallery post editor.

I can I increase this limit?

Hi,

The upload limit is controlled by your host, you will need to contact them so they can increase this.

Actually the button “Select or Upload Images” in the Gallery options disappears when I reach the 200 limit.

If I try uploading more than 200 I get an alert message “You may only upload maximum 200 files”.

It looks like Cardinal has some tests in place. Can you please tall me where this code is located?

And when I speak with the host, what should I tell them to change?

Ah, yes that is different – that is set here: /wp-content/themes/cardinal/includes/meta-boxes.php

On line 2062 search for this: max_file_uploads' => 200 and change it.
