Sorry, I should have been more specific.
The sidebar width, by default, should be the same throughout the site.
Much in the same way that you would not have a footer that was a different height randomly on a website, or a header that was a different height on some pages and not on others, it just doesn’t make sense and is awkward.
This side bar width is perfect here on the shop page:

But, on any other page (including the homepage) the sidebar width is too wide, like it is here:
http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/pages/default-page-sidebar-left/
I understand that there must be some underlying technical issue that never got resolved, but is it possible to have the sidebar from the shop added to the homepage, without causing grid inconsistencies like the image attached?
