Have you edited the core theme files? If not your change will be preserved. All theme options and page/post content will remain the same.

I don’t understand what you mean by child theme. In terms of theme update, I don’t see that at all in my WP dashboard. I’ve re-uploaded the theme before, all settings were changed to default, that’s why I don’t want to go that route.

The objective is to achieve shop – gallery 3 column –> page setup, the filter, and all the same effects that come with view the products etc. The solution proposed earlier hasn’t worked out so far.

Please advise asap.

As mentioned please update the theme to 1.9.5, here is the link to the new zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dn1e019szwnxpws/atelier.zip?dl=0. Use your FTP to upload that, overwriting your current theme folder.

Please also check your Swift Framework plugin is on version 1.7.5.

I updated the theme via ftp and there are two issues remaining:

1. This page I’m trying to fix got even more messed up

2. Swift framework plugin does not update to 1.7.5. I updated it several times in WP, it is still 1.6.4.

The most simple way is probably for you to send me the page template for gallery standard 3-col. And help figure out how to set up filters correctly.
