Hi! I purchased your theme yesterday and am still learning the ropes. I think it’s going to be great for us. But, right now I have a huge problem and am hoping that you can help me. We are a collective of around 70 handmade shops and are setting up a market where the members can sell their products. On the old theme, each had a profile that was set up using the theme’s portfolio. They also each have a slide. I tried to import the files using the wordpress import/export tool, but it didn’t work.
If I can’t figure this out, it means that I will have to copy all of the narratives to a document and then copy them back to your portfolio structure, something that would take me hours and hours to do.
Can you help me with this? I am willing to pay for it as it will save me so much time and effort. It would mean making the other theme live, Pulse, downloading the files and then uploading them to Atelier. I am sure that I will still have to edit each one to make them look good in your layout, but if I can at least have the content there, it will make things so much easier.
There are around 70 portfolios and slides and then 1 team member.
Other questions:
I am used to using Visual Composer and have been messing with the Swift Page Builder. So far, I prefer VC. I looked for a good tutorial for the Swift Page Builder but didn’t find anything that was very good. I looked at your video, but there is no narrative and it’s hard for me to follow along on silent tutorials as I don’t really get what is being done.
Does VC conflict with Swift? Can both be on the site at the same time? If I choose to use VC will I lose any important elements that you have set up in Swift? My old theme designer had created special theme options withing VC and I suspect that you have done the same here, but so far, VC is more logical to me. I think it carried over from the old theme.
I am confused about how to set up the navigation for the product categories. Is there a tutorial or directions somewhere that could help me? I went through your documentation, but there are not enough specifics there that show you how to achieve different things. I started out trying to set things up on my own and then loaded one of the templates and that helped with some of it, but there is still a lot for me to understand. I’m sure it’s an ongoing process, but right now, the most important thing for me is to get those profiles moved and the navigation set up for our shop categories. (We have a lot of them, so I need the super menu in place.)
Many thanks! I’m excited about the potential this theme has for us and chose it because you are so proactive on your themeforest page and have gotten such good reviews. Of course, I also like much of the design options, too! 🙂

May 16, 2016 at 12:24 pm #267720Hi there,
Unfortunately that request is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation. We only provide support for theme issues, and at times basic customisations. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation: http://www.swiftideas.com/customization/.
Thanks
MohammadMay 16, 2016 at 10:33 pm #267905My other theme designer helped me change the file names, so the portfolios and slides are now there. I am still wondering about the compatibility between Visual Composer and yours. Can I have both there?
I figured out the mega navigation, but it’s huge, so any tips on that would be helpful…
May 16, 2016 at 10:35 pm #267908Ah, I just saw your answer. For some reason, I didn’t get it via email. Alright, I’ll keep struggling away at it. It would be helpful if you guys developed more tutorials. My other theme designer has loads of them and it helped so much!

Yes it’s possible to use Visual composer or our Swift Page Builder. You can develop some pages with Visual Composer and other pages with Swift Page Builder.
