Images in menu

Hi guys,

I’m testing something on my local machine:
I included images on the mega menu and it looks really good which is great. But for some reasons, on the product pages, these images look giant and disproportionate.
So it works everywhere, even in the shop page, but not on an individual product page.

Any idea why it does that?

How did you add your image to the menu?

Hi Kyle,

I created them on a sample page with the Swift builder and then copied the code to the menu (Custom HTML Column (within Mega Menu)).
As I said it works really well, except on the single product page.

Hi,

Your Wooocommerce product settings for the single product image are set to 720 x 720.

You need to reduce this setting to a smaller dimension an regenerate all the thumbnails using this plugin.

Does that mean that the other images of the product page will be affected?

No, just the ones in the product details.
It doesn’t affect related products, etc.

I tried what you said and unfortunately it doesn’t make any difference.

I put:
Single Product Image 292 × 194 px √ Hard Crop

292 x 194 being the size of the pictures in my menu…

Add this custom css, this will solve your issue:

.mega-menu-widget > .container {
	max-width: 100%;
}
.mega-menu-widget .row {
	max-width: 100%;
}
