Image size questions

hi guys. been doing some googling and searching on the forum here too about media image sizes. I have a few things.. this page – the product image is huge.

on my front page, the first product image wont show up as square even though it was cropped square prior to uploading. here:

i have tried hard crop and resizing the images in the media section as well as the woo commerce settings and then regenerating the thumbnails but its not working.. the images are the size they are even if i upload a smaller size it stretches them out to that size and then of course they look crappy ;p

any help would be great thanks!

Hi

1) Go to Theme Options > Product Options and enable the product image width override, then use the slider to make it smaller

2) The images you upload must be larger that than the settings you have set, otherwise they will not be resized and cropped

hi Kyle, i cant find Product Options under Theme Options.. isn’t on the list. Is it perhaps a sub category of something else on the list of Theme Options?

Hi Kyle i still dont see the headings you have given me. i have no options in woo commerce. I have settings but not options. i have products but no product options. Also.. i guess the regenerate thumbnails worked for the one image that was wonky in the first product slider (What’s hot category) but the single product page image didnt change.
