    Hi,

I have been experiencing some issues with the image modules in the page builder.
When I insert an image module and set an image size to full, medium, or thumbnail- nothing changes. The image is displayed at a standard size, no matter what size I upload the image.

Since nothing was changing in the builder, I applied a class and was able to resize the image with custom CSS. Doing this did not allow the columns to be properly aligned as a 1/4 1/4 1/4 1/4 layout should be, and applying margins broke the responsive aspect of the grid.

Why are the images not resizing in the builder?
Is there anything I can do, or any custom CSS that may help me?

    Thanks!
    El

    Hi
The image size setting is only for the quality of the image. If the image asset is full width then the image will always show full width, you would have to reduce the image asset itself to reduce the size

    Hi Kyle,

The image is not set to full width.
How do I reduce the size of the image asset?

Being that we cannot upload custom icons into this theme, I am using the image asset to act as an icon. Ideally, I would like the icons to be smaller than the standard image size the image asset is displaying.

You just have to upload smaller images and use then in those image assets.

    Hi Rui,

As I stated in my first ticket… no matter what size I upload the images, the image asset does not display it at the uploaded size and only displays the image at the standard asset size.

    Hi Swift Team,

Are you able to resolve this issue or point me in the right direction?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Check the example i did in that page. You should use the text block and attach inside the image you want.

    Hi Rui,

As you can see, I approached this issue that way already – on the homepage.
This works, however you then lose the animated effects the image asset provides and I do not see short-codes available for the animated function.

I’d like to resolve the original issue of the image asset not functioning properly.

    Thank you.

In that case will forward it to the development team to see if it’s feasible.

    Thank you Rui.

Is this an issue only I am experiencing?

The image asset functions perfectly fine. If you want to use a small image that doesn’t fill it’s container you will need to use the text box to import your image at it’s actual size
