    Hi awesome developers!

    An image layer on my rev slider (called blogg) almost never loads correctly on mobile view. Please see image. The problem is most often on the individual post, like this one. Same rev slider usually loads correctly on my blog feed page with all post.

    How do I fix this bug?

    Hi,

    I’m seeing it fine in Samsung S4

    What mobile/browser are you using? Maybe it could be some setting in the browser or mobile.

    Hi!

    It’s an iPhone 5 with the latest version of Safari. I’ve restarted it to make sure too. And since the same slider usually looks OK on the blog feed page, I don’t believe it’s a setting on the phone.

    Does the page with the problem: http://monroedesign.se/skyltfonsterdekor-pa-dm-retro-i-stockholm/ look good too on your phone (your screengrab was the page that looks good on my phone too)?

    Hi,

    Manage to test in a Iphone 5 and the result was ok.

    Maybe try to clear all the browser cache.

    Will have to forward to the development team so they can also check it.

    Hi there,

    Can you try adding this custom css:

    figure.media-wrap .rev_slider_wrapper img {
    height: inherit!important;
    }

    Let us know!

    Hi Ed1

    I’m sorry, but it still doesn’t work on my phone. I cleared cache on both phone and site and I restarted it. What’s wrong with me? Weird issue!

    Hmm.. 100% the same slider instance? The revslider JS is setting different position/size values for the post page..

    Have you tried updating to the latest version? http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/revolution-slider-latest-version-2/page/2/#post-104234

    Check it now? It’s something to do with your slider / slide settings – I had a little play around but I think you need to set the width/height of the layer, or set the image as the background for the layer maybe – nothing with the theme is causing that issue.

    But why does it work on the blog feed page?

    Because the blog post slider is within a container, but it’s broken out of to make it full width. If you use the Forced full width slider mode, rather than auto-responsive – that should sort it.

    Hi!

    OMG! I spent 5 hours trying to figure this out (not your fault of course!). I’ll show you what I did because somebody else might have the same issue.

    The key was to specify “image scale” 940 x 500 and check “scale proportional” on the edit slide page. See image.

    So anybody who wants a full width slider looking good like this in responsive mode on a blog post page viewed from mobile, copy my settings in the images provided.
