    Hi Ed,
    At the moment the alt information for images is a duplication of the image name. This is ok but displaying the correct alt information would be better for SEO. When I look in the php I see this: alt=”<?php echo $item_title; ?>”). Is there an easy way to have the correct alt information displayed, the one you can custom enter in the admin. Is this fixed by relacing “$item_title;” by something else or is it more complex than that?

    Sure Ed. It are all the images displayed on the post detail pages, like this page:

    Oil disaster

    When you look at the source you see the alt tag of the large image is just a duplication of the image name, it would be better if the custom entered alt information in the admin would be displayed. When using an SEO plugin it doesn’t help either. It keeps displaying the image name in the alt info. I would love to change it myself in the single.php code, but don’t know how 🙂
