Hi, I was wondering if you could post a guide as to what the ideal image sizes are for portfolio and various thumbnail sizes which will give the best result for high quality display & retina.

The PSD’s provided for portfolio images versus the actual images you are using on the demo site are different dimensions. I realise the WP system may scale the images but I would likto prepare everything at the same size at 100% quality and upload. This would be a great help in order for us to prepare best quality assets for upload.

Hi AK,

The idea with “retina” is that you simply upload double sized images; they get scaled down to half and that’s where the retina screens shine.

You can see the image sizes that the theme registers, in functions.php (Apperance/Editor). So you would need to upload double the size of those.
