    Hi all,

    I have a major issue. Today i posted a question regarding how i can get something done similarly to the joyn website so i did what i was advised and imported the demo content (i was worried about it) but now as a result everything has been overwritten in my wordpress functions. Almost everything! I even lost my portfolio pages completely including all data. Is there a way i can use revert back to my previous version before changes. I need to trouble shoot ASAP as the site was nearly ready to be published and now it is a total mess. I even have the portfolio tool on the sidebar missing from wordpress. Can someone take a look for me please. Need help ASAP!!! What can i do??? Start again?

    Hi,

    Can you check the admin credentials? can’t login with those.

    The import process don’t delete any data, so your pages, etc should be there, if they aren’t there something else delete it.

    Your front page wasn’t configured.
    The Portfolio custom post type was also disabled.

    Can you check if it’s ok now?

    Hi Rui,

    Thank you very much Rui, I really appreciate your help as i was in a panic mode. I am still new to wordpress as this is my first site and i’m still finding my way around it, so thanks again for being patient. However, the import did misconfigure a few things I didn’t know my way around, i was not being silly on that.
