Hey,
Thanks – I have increased your memory limit in the
wp-config.php
file.I added this:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
Can you please clear your browser cache and try again?
Cheers,
David.November 13, 2015 at 12:05 pm #228535I have to jump in, as I have the same issue.
Aaron, who is your service provider? I am with Mediatemple. They are one of the best in the market, so I dont think the host is the issue here either. And I am on Windows.
November 13, 2015 at 12:08 pm #228537Can you provide your site url so we can check?
what is happening exactly in your case?Thanks
-Rui
November 13, 2015 at 12:36 pm #228551Exactly the same: sometimes files get rejected, then, if I wait a couple minutes, they will be there, but without a preview thumbnail. I think it might have something to do with the resolution of images. Note sure though.
If you want, I can provide login and you can have a look at my media library. You will see many of the images have no thumbnail. I can use them, but it’s still annoying.
November 13, 2015 at 12:45 pm #228554That’s what I’ve been trying to say. It can’t be my hosting provider or my internet speed because when I use a different theme the upload works every time regardless of file size.
I’m on my drive to work. I’ll flush the cache and try again in a bit.
Thank you again for your assistance.
November 13, 2015 at 12:47 pm #228555No problem. Let us know the result.

November 13, 2015 at 3:39 pm #228633I flushed my cache and uploads are working for the most part. I had a couple give me another http error but when I tried them a second time the uploads were successful.
I’ll keep trying throughout the day. I had it working a few weeks ago and then everything went wacky again.
Thank you very much for all your help, I really do appreciate it.

November 14, 2015 at 6:55 pm #228785The http error is back. I was working last night and couldn’t even upload a file 250k in size. I have to switch themes and upload my media and then switch back to Atelier but the theme switching is producing glitches and my work isn’t saving properly.
November 16, 2015 at 11:33 am #228941Will just forward to our development team to see if they have any other ideas.

November 16, 2015 at 11:34 pm #229205Hi there,
Do you get any errors in the server logs? If something is causing this, then it should be showing in the logs.

November 30, 2015 at 4:33 pm #232191Where can I find server logs? I use the godaddyy.com wordpress web hosting. I don’t see any server log data on there. Do I need to contact them?
This is making me nervous, I am building a website for my photo retouching services, I’ll need my customers to upload high resolution photos for me to retouch. I love this template and the back end builder but it’s all useless if my this upload error persists.
Beyond frustrated.

Please contact GoDaddy and ask them to supply you with the errors logs for your site.
Thanks,
David.December 1, 2015 at 4:00 pm #232487Can you also open
wp-config.php
and place this inside:define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
