How to setup section background and default icons please ?

When uploaded and set up default content pages, page Services & Capabilities shows this (please see attached screenshot)

A) how to manage that the ico shortcuts are replaced with correct icons ?
B) how to achieve section background with pattern such as on demo site ?

This does not happen on our installations, so if you need help with a specific problem on your website, I would always need to see your site live please.

Could you tell me your website URL please? You can do so by typing it into a reply.
On which version of the theme and WP are you?

For the icon classes see: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/

And which section background are you referring to? You can set up your asset backgrounds in Theme Options.

Hi, how do i make that the code is replaced by those icons and other interactive elements such as [slider …] code. The slider is set up correctly and working on homepage but the codes dont seem to work on other pages.

You need to change where it says ‘icon-bullhorn’ to ‘fa-bullhorn’.

No sure what you mean about the slider.
