    How do you remove widget areas from the Appearance>Widgets section ?

    I noticed that clicking on the trash can icon does nothing when trying to remove duplicate or superfluous widget areas.

    Is there a way to do this in the WordPress GUI without jumping into the backend code?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem, I can not remove the widget areas manually created. I can see the trash icon but nothing happens when you click on it.

    Atelier 2.1.60 – WP 4.5.3 – Every plugins up to date.
