Hi, awesome theme by the way. We would really like to be able to hide the by[authors name] in[category] as I have no idea where these pages are and have no use for them. Is this possible?

    Thanks

Got it working, thanks. I hadn’t noticed the option, there are so many features to this theme. Thanks for the reply.

    Hello SITeam,

How can I do this? Since it is not explained in this thread.

I want to remove the link to the author archive page on “single posts” and on the “recent posts widget (of the swift page builder)”.

Not buy hiding it through CSS because it is not a good SEO practice.

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi

Go to Theme Options > Custom Post Type Options and you’ll see ‘single author blog’ enable that

    Hi Kyle,

It is already enabled but you can see the links on the recent post widget on https://www.tequilaysoledad.com/ at the bottom of the page (The author’s name is “Gorda”) as well as on the single posts:

    – next to the share bar https://www.tequilaysoledad.com/blog/guides/blog-dummy-2/
    – on the top left just below the hero header pic https://www.tequilaysoledad.com/blog/facts/blog-dummy-3/

    best

Doesn’t look like you have the option enabled, please provide me with a login so I can check

I’ve informed the developer of this bug and he is going to look into it for you and fix in the next update if necessary

For the single post it would require “include author info” to be disabled

    Thanks Kyle!

That would help. BTW, if you disable “include author info” on the single post with the hero header also the date and category disappears, (pls see attachment) which is not ideal.

Add this to your child themes functions.php file: http://pastie.org/10675969
