    On my shop page > page meta options, ‘remove the promo bar’ is definitely ticked. However, after clearing caches and testing multiple times, it still shows on the shop page frontend. On localhost. Any ideas why?

    .woocommerce #base-promo{display:none !important}

    Thanks Mohammad. fyi, this didn’t work when placing in Theme Options > Custom CSS, but it did work in Child Theme style.css.
