    Hi, is there a way to change the post excerpts on the list page to be based on characters, not words? With words, the excerpt length never aligns properly.

    Hi

    You can set the custom excerpt in the post meta options. Which will allow you to set it to whatever you like

    Noo, I mean of the posts themselves. You can set an excerpt for each post, for e.g. edit ‘Video: Deal Angel – Find Awesome Hotel Deals by API Data Crunching’
