How to change page column setting – woocommerce checkout options

Perhaps the community can help solve this one as I’m sure many users would want this. On the checkout page, I’m trying to shift the 2 column setup to 3 columns… and separate the payment box (specifically, where the user selects payment type and hits ‘buy now’) from the order review box (list of items). The goal is to get almost all content above the fold, especially the ‘buy now’ button on the right side of the page. Any ideas?

The problem (maybe) could be separating the payment div, from the parent div of order review. Not sure where or how to do that.

All the checkout pages files are located in woocommerce/templates/checkout/ inside the theme folder you can either customize there, or create child themes to do that.
