Hi Flexform support,
I decided to switch from my old theme to flexform for its great possibilities.
One thing I did not imagine is that in order to make all pages and posts look the way I want them (and I have a few hundred) is that I have to go into each and everyone of them to edit the flexform custom columns such as the sidebar settings, include author info, include social sharing, include related posts, remove breadcrumbs etc.
Is there a way to bulk edit all of these?
Naturally this can not be done through the bulk or quick edit panels of native WordPress, because they are custom columns of the flexform theme.
I have also tried out the Airhus plugin to bulk edit custom columns, but unfortunately that also does not work since the wp+flexform combi only seems to create a record in the postmeta database table if and when the post is edited and saved. In other words: the Airhus plugin simply cannot update non-existing records. Only when an administrator has visited each and every single post/page will the database be complete with custom postmeta records, and even then I’m not sure if the Airhus plugin would work as expected.
If we initially want to style our pages and posts with the right settings (as is my current situation), or also if we want to do a redesign later on, how would we go about that without manually going through several hundred posts?
I hope you have a solution.
Regards,
Waldemar
