    I am using the Single Image element with caption on this page. I need the caption to be on 3 lines. I can insert <br> and it works for a while. As soon as I add a new element and update the page, the line break disappears and all the caption text goes back to one line. How can I apply the line breaks?

    Please see attached – caption01 is with line breaks. caption02 is after updating the page without changing the line breaks.

    Because that field don’t accept HTML, I ask our dev team is there any possibility about this.

    Let us know,

    Thanks,

    Try adding <span>’s instead of br’s, and see if that remains when you update the page? If so, we can provide some css for this for you.

    Hi Ed,

    The <span> tag does stay either. I added in the classic mode text but when i switch to the page builder and back, it disappears again.

    I can see the b tag: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g9rj0jccsyk53m4/Screenshot%202014-11-27%2017.59.38.png?dl=0

    Just add:

    figcaption b {
    display: block;
    }

    To the custom css within theme options and that will work.

    That code only creates a single line for the first line of text. I want the caption to be in 3 lines, including the text that are not in bold. the code you provided only applies to the bold text.

    Agreed it will be better to have a text editor for caption control. I’ve just changed this for the next update (releasing today).

    Hi Ed,

    I just updated to 2.05. The caption for Single Picture is still not working. The text editor isn’t saving any content

    Try deleting the image asset and adding it again – testing here and all working fine. Might just be something cached your end.

    The caption is still not saving. I have created a new page, inserted the Single Image element. I can add the picture but the caption won’t save.

    Hi @egad,

    Apologies for that, just tested using a fresh asset and there is indeed an issue. Will look at this right away.
