How do I turn on the NEW product flash banner for new uploaded products?

Because my client recently uploaded 8 new bottles of wine to his website. He managed to highlight the fact that 5 bottles are new, but missed off 3. Now he’s forgotten where said button or check box is, so he can highlight the other 3 products as NEW.

He’s not a coder and certainly wouldn’t know how to add custom css. How do you think such a novice like him did it?

The theme will set the new badge automatically for products less than 7 days old, there’s no button for you to set them yourself

Hi,

That is suppose to be automatic based on the timestamp when the product was added. Think it shows to all the products added in the last 7 days.

Can you check the creation date of those last products?

I can give you the published dates, but not creation dates:
14/07/2015
13/07/2015
08/07/2015
16/06/2015

Some of them are not in the past 7 days, that’s why they do not have the new badge

related question.

I replace existing products with new ones and adjust the url and info.
This is easier and faster than deleting and creating new products.
Any way i can stil show the “new” badge on these replaced products?
