How can I have a video shown as in a Swift Slider, but served with streaming?

With Swift Slider, my colleague can create sections in the page, taking the full width of the page, where a video is shown, with autoplay, and loop (no buttons, video controls, etc.).

He used “Slide Setup” -> “Slide Background Video”, and uploaded an .mp4 from the “Background Video .mp4”.

It works: but I want him to achieve the same result, though the video should stream from e.g. youtube. With autoplay, and loop, no controls, etc.

Which is the recommended way of obtaining this in Uplift?

Unfortunately it’s not possible to set youtube or vimeo videos as backgrounds, they can only be embedded with html. Div backgrounds have to use css and need to video file path to load, which vimeo and youtube do not give you

Unfortunately it’s not possible to do that sorry, is there a reason you want to use vimeo/youtube if you don’t want to use their video player?

I recommend using amazon s3 for hosting your videos https://aws.amazon.com/s3/ this will help improve load times
