    Hi,

    I was working on my website by adding some code changes, however I was out of town for 6 weeks and was not able to work on my website. I am now back and would like to use a different demo “Vario” however I want to overwrite all of the custom coding I had added previously.
    But when I import the Vario theme with the demo content, color etc etc it does not override my old coding. I even went ahead and reinstalled the entire template. But it seems to not want to work.

    How do I go about changing this so that it will override everything and look exactly like the demo so I can start to work with the new Vario theme?

    I hope this makes sense, if not please let me know and I will try to explain it better lol.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
    This is Swiftideas support forum. We dont have any Vario theme in our portfolio. You should contact at right support forum for Vario theme.

    Hi,
    Sorry for misunderstanding. Actually You mentioned Vario theme instead of Vario demo content style. You can change the color through color customizer. Just decrease the menu item count to look perfect.

    You can simply delete the theme, then upload a new zip file from TF.

    Hi,

    Uploading a new theme file will not remove the actual content you have added to your website. This is stored in your database.

    We cannot wipe/delete your site install and database, this is outside the scope of support.

    Please contact your host and they will do this for you.

    Would it work if I deleted WP and reinstalled WP and the theme? Or would it better to have my host do something on their end?

    Hi,

    You can use this plugin instead to reset your installation to it’s defaults.
    It works very well.

    WordPress Reset

    Give it a try.
