    When you say you put the css in the ‘header’ section, please can you explain what you mean? Did you add it into the header.php file?

    That’s the wrong place, you’re supposed to put it in Theme Options > General Options, and there is a custom css box.

    If it’s still broken then I guess you will be best deleting the theme and re-uplaoding
