Hi – its a bit confusing this one so please read carefully…
I was using the revolution slider on my homepage which was full-width and working perfectly. Then for some reason it started dip laying only half of the slider vertically so it was showing only around 300px of the 650px height…then the banner seemed to disappear altogether.
I then couldn’t seem to find where to put the short code to make the slider on the homepage because I was going to re-do it…I have read the documentation from the revolution slider and still can’t seem to find where do this on the homepage. As a temporary solution I have added a revolution slider using the swift builder but it is not 100% of the screen width and is below the page title bar “HOME” instead of being above it. please can you help me to sort this out.
Thanks for your time
Mark
September 11, 2014 at 1:59 am #109377Hi Mark,
Make sure you create the revolution slider Auto responsive or full screen, then come to the page, edit it and put the slider alias here like this: http://take.ms/bgWpr
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.September 17, 2014 at 9:13 am #111574Hi Laranz,
Thanks for this but the slider is still coming through as displaying on the half of the height ๐ – see attached screenshot because I had to take it off my live site because it looked stupid – though you can see that it should be a height of 650px, as configured in my settings in the revolution slide but it is only showing circa 300px. It used to work fine
How do I fix this?
Thanks for your time

MohammadSeptember 17, 2014 at 1:13 pm #111706HI Mohammed,
I have cleared my cache and it still does not work. Re-read my last email properly please and look at the screenshot. I know my my live site the slider looks fine because its just an in page slider rather than the full-width homepage slider because when I enter the alias on the ‘Homepage’ it only shows 300px worth of the height. I haven’t left it live because it looks embarrassing…
please assist…
