I’ve setup the demo slider according the docs but the slider does not seem to be appearing on the home page. If I add the shortcode the for the slider then two sliders show up! I can add the shortcode and erase the alias from Page Slider Options but I prefer the background going all the way across the browser window, which the shortcode version doesn’t seem to do.

Plus, I would just like to figure out why it is not working.

    Hi there,

You want to provide the slider alias in the page meta options, not in the actual content. If you scroll down you will find the box to add this.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. I had it in the page meta options section originally but no slider would appear. IF I THEN entered it into the content also I would see two sliders – the one entered in content and the one from the page meta options. BUT, When the slider alias is entered into the page meta options section alone it does not show up on the site.

Make sure you have the Include libraries globally option enabled in Revolution Slider > General Settings.
